Happy like Pharrell

As you can probably tell from the title of this post, I'm happy like Pharrell!

First of all, shoutout to my Mom for buying me this beautiful bikini I'll be writing about. I wouldn't be writing about it if you didn't buy it, so thank you very much!

Okay, so I'm pretty sure that you have heard about the brand Triangl bathing suits. If you don't like them, that's great, and if you love them, that's okay, too.

So a lot of girls in my grade are buying Triangl bathing suits now. I really like the fun colors of those bathing suits, but I feel like some of the bikinis are just a tad too mature. I was just looking on the River Island website and saw this beautiful bikini. I was in love! It has the pretty colors of a Triangl, but it isn't as exposing as a Triangl. I HIGHLY recommend this bikini!

Adam Levine Collection

Guess where I was yesterday? A New York Fashion Week Show! The Adam Levine Collection is awesome, and what's great about it is how affordable it is! You can search "Adam Levine Collection" on Google to find his website, or click right HERE! He doesn't sell kids clothes so tomorrow I'll be posting how to get the look of some of the models! This is how the day went out:

I got some coffee--don't worry it's decaf--and we were on our way!

We went to a delicious burger place close to Times Square, the restaurant was called HB Burger. Seriously, the food was SO good!

The first floor was set up with the sponsors of the event. (Sponsors are people who pay to sell stuff and hand out free items at the show) Some of my favorite sponsors were Mrs. Thirsters cookies--you must try some!--Not Your Mother's Hair Products, and the ever popular shoe brand, Sperry! We were lucky to get great seats, we were in the second row! We even had a singer from the popular singing competition, the Voice, perform!

The show was so good! The clothing were the best! Sadly, they don't make kids clothes, so tomorrow I'll be posting "get the looks" of my favorite model outfits! Also, if you want to see more pictures from the show, check my Instagram @jr.fashionista!

Ways to Wear Denim

I love wearing denim jeans. They're comfy, soft, cozy, cute... the list could go on forever. But don't you get tired of just wearing the jeans? Don't you wish there were more ways to style denim? I found a great way a long time ago that works super well for me! All you do is throw a denim shirt! It's a LOT more interesting that way, and it will make sure that you aren't wearing jeans everyday!

Monday Isn't Always Such a Fun Day

So... today is Monday. Yeah. We have the whole week ahead of us...


I HATE Mondays. They're so boring and you have the whole week left of school to go. Let's face the facts, people! No one likes Mondays! Actually, scratch that. Z as in Zara

With people still adjusting to back to school, it's always good to remember a few basic things you have learned in previous years of school. For example, you might not fully remember the exact definition of metacognition word for word, but at least you can remember 3 times 4, or how to spell your name. Ya know, the basic stuff. Another super simple thing to remember is the alphabet. A B C... you don't need me to write the whole thing, do you? Most people have a favorite letter of the alphabet. If your name is Erin, your favorite letter is E. If your name is Brooke, your favorite letter is B. But that's not really how it works for me. I like to pick my favorite letter based on something meaningful, like my favorite sport or favorite candy. And for all you fashionistas out there, your favorite letter can be based off of your favorite brand! Here's some inspiration for you guys--or really girls since this is a girls fashion blog--who don't have a clue what their favorite letter should be! Hopefully, after this post your favorite letter will be Z as in Zara!

Summer Days

     You're lucky if you're still in "Summer" mode and haven't gone back to school yet.

Summer is my favorite season. I love "Ooh oh oh Summer Nights" and I hate it when "Summer days, are drifting away". I would love to stop time and just stay in Summer forever.

We all know that can't happen.

If you're lucky enough to still technically be on summer vacation, please take the time to dress like you're on summer vacation. Don't go all "Fall outfits in Summer" because, trust me, in Fall, you're going to regret not dressing summery while you still can. How has your Labor Day been so far? Mine has consisted of sleeping, sleeping, and even more sleeping! I guess that's due to the fact that I woke up a couple of hours ago, but I guess you could say for most of my Labor Day, so far I have been sleeping. Anyway.........................

Labor Day Weekend Begins!

Labor Day Weekend is starting--are you excited? Soon the BBQs, fireworks, and beach nights will begin.
